There is beauty in this. The tree has shed its leaves and it is ready to bloom in full force... it is a waiting game. What will it be like when it happens? We will have to wait and see. It seems that Nature has a soft spot for drama!
Being sick sucks. There’s no way around it. But well, like that old saying goes: “if life gives you lemons...” so here you got it: a glimpse at my allergy capsules, which I gotta say, have helped quite a bit! Being sick is part of life too.
Grackles. Sometimes confused with “blackbirds” and sometimes with crows, these birds are far more complex than most people think. This one is a Great-tailed Grackle (Quiscalus mexicanus) and it is capable of solving an Aesop’s Fable test! Some people dislike them. I personally like them, a lot. I find them beautiful, intelligent, resourceful and I like how tight-knitted their colonies are: the way they start and end their day with a seemly endless chatter reminds me of what we do every day too: we start and finish our day sharing with the ones we care about the most. If we look closely, we might actually learn a thing or two about them ;-)
