Sunsets are a dime a dozen... so how do you do something different? Well, here is my take: a fiery sunset, out of focus and filtered by the leaves of several trees. Turned out different for sure!
#LazyMonday and it is perfect: the @nintendo #Switch is having its first birthday and I do have to thank it for some very entertaining moments. It is a great idea for a mobile console and although I am a late adopter I am also a convert. Long Live the Switch!
One of the things you can appreciate about Costa Rica is it’s “urban flora”. You can find many trees and shrubs smack in the middle of towns, almost everywhere. The one depicted is a shrub very familiar to most people: the “hoja de sen” (Caesalpinia pulcherrima), and it is sometimes incorrectly called Malinche but the real Malinche (Delonix regia) actually grows as a tree. You can find this planted in medians, sidewalks, public gardens and parks. It is quite beautiful and deserves a pause to contemplate its intricate flowers.
